Now that all the water stuff has been built and tested, I emptied the paludarium again. High time to start working on the backgrounds and waterfall.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n



\nThe Aquatic background<\/strong><\/p>\n

It makes sense to start with the aquatic background, as I bought this background and do not plan on building it myself. As the paludarium will be amazonian, I choose the amazonian version from Akwaline<\/a>, and after glueing it in it looks like this:<\/p>\n

I decided to align the background to the right (as I look straight into the right side of the paludarium as well. So the right side is glued directly against the glass:<\/p>\n

The aquatic background is aligned to one side so it rests directly against the glass.<\/p><\/div>\n

The left side has a space of +-2cm. This space is filled with a piece of mosquito net:<\/p>\n

Mosquito net is used to close the gap on the left side. No fish allowed behind the background!<\/p><\/div>\n

Luckily everything was measured correctly when ordering all stuff. The external filter feed-through fits nicely in front of the aquatic background:<\/p>\n
